At night the city lights appear to be a thousand twinkling stars. Northcliff Ridge is the site of historical interest, where vultures once flew and Moselekatse, Shaka's general, resided with his followers, before being pushed out by the Voortrekkers.

The trendy suburbs of Melville and Greenside, with their popular pavement culture and vibey restaurants, shops and boutiques are both natural evening hang outs when staying in Northcliff . These slightly bohemian but classically trendy neighborhoods provide hours of people watching and good food options.

LOWER NORTHCLIFF
